Description
The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a place of wonder, spiritual renewal, and sublime vistas in Sedona, Arizona. Completed in 1957 the chapel has a contemporary, beyond-time look, a sculptural feel, and a surreal effect as it juts out of two red mounds on a spur of rock that is 200 feet above the ground. Surrounding the chapel are the red rock Mystic Hills. The day we visited in March it was packed with tourists, so my wife and I looked for a more peaceful view a little distance away and found this perspective.
