This old time cop cruiser has seen better days, similarly the home behind it. But it reminds us of days... and people gone by. I captured this image near Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and felt that it would be best presented in a sepia tone.

I do love the sepia tones in this one and especially the way the white pops. I'm thinking that in color the grass and maybe even the house would compete for our attention, but in monochrome, the vehicle is front and center in an appropriate but subdued background that contributes to rather than detracting from the scene.
