Description
The Limpkin is a unique species in the United States. It is only found in Florida and near swamps and other wetlands, which is exactly where I found this one. Its coloring is primarily brown with white spots and streaking. Its call is similar to the Sandhill Crane. This black and white image is also available in full color.
FEATURED in the BEDROOM ART GALLERY Group 3/1/23.

Carol Allen Anfinsen
Limpkins are very elusive and rarely seen. The aftermath of a bad storm and construction in and around the outer areas had driven him to our golf community.
David T Wilkinson replied:
To your point, Carol, I found this one at the Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers!
