Normally I think I would prefer the black and white of this scene but here, looking at both in your gallery, I actually like the color better. I especially like the light green just under the fence and the way it appears to be picked up on the chain and spring. The tones remind me of those you have in the late afternoon when a storm is either coming or just ending and the sun breaks through the clouds and the land is in stark contrast with the still dark sky. I like the lines and shadows here, too. Nice image, David.
