Description
While visiting Sturgeon Bay in Door County, Wisconsin on a 38-degree day in January, the fog had settled in to stay and the bridge was up. I found this red Chicago Fireboat (which gives tours during the summer) iced-in till spring. Originally designed as a City of Chicago Fireboat, the Fred A. Busse was built in Bay City, Michigan in 1937. It served the Chicago Fire Department for many years. It is now docked in Sturgeon Bay giving tours of the area and housing a small museum dedicated to Chicago's firefighting efforts.

Nice capture of this winter scene. I love the bright red boat in contrast with the foggy greys of the city. l/f
